INTERNATIONAL PUBLISHING 2008

Although Todd McFarlane Productions publishes only English-language books, our titles are available in 9 languages and 35 countries around the world. It works like this: TMP licenses a title (Spawn, for example) to a foreign publisher. The foreign publisher is granted a limited number of issues, which he is responsible for translating, printing, marketing and distributing in his designated territory. TMP provides the publisher with our artwork to ensure quality reproduction. The publisher may include his own editorial pages, letter pages and advertisements, and he may alter the format of the books to make them more suitable for his particular market. TMP approves all international editions before they go to press.

Currently, TMP works with just one publisher in each territory. They all publish Spawn, but most have expanded to publish other TMP titles as well. Below is a list of countries and languages and the titles they have published.
